A project cargo specialist built from the ground up for East and Central Africa's most demanding corridors.
Veenlam Logistics Limited was founded in 2021 in Dar es Salaam by a team with a clear conviction: that East Africa's landlocked countries deserved a freight partner who took project cargo seriously — one who would manage the complexity, own the corridor, and deliver without excuses.
We are not a general-purpose logistics company that occasionally handles oversized cargo. We are a project cargo specialist, built from the ground up to move the shipments that standard forwarders turn down — the transformers, the mining equipment, the prefabricated modules, the construction plant — across six challenging corridors to six landlocked markets.
Our team includes customs compliance specialists, project cargo coordinators, route planning experts, and a corridor operations team with direct experience of the border processes, permit requirements, and logistics realities that define project cargo movements across the region.

Veenlam Logistics is a Tanzanian company, incorporated and registered under the laws of Tanzania, with our offices at MUA Insurance Building, 1st Floor, Dar es Salaam. We are licensed, compliant, and operationally based at the port that serves as the natural gateway to landlocked East and Central Africa.
We hold memberships in recognised international project cargo networks — including JCtrans, GLA (Global Logistics Alliance), and OOG Network — connecting us to a global community of project forwarders and giving our clients access to coordinated end-to-end project logistics across the supply chain.
We are affiliated with Rhema Holdings Limited and operate across all our operational departments from our head office in Dar es Salaam. Veenlam also maintains a branch presence in Zambia — extending our direct corridor coverage on the ground.
Project cargo does not forgive vague commitments. We assess every route before we quote, confirm every permit before we move, and communicate precisely throughout.
Our team has spent years on these corridors — at Tunduma, Kasumbalesa, Rusumo. We know what the paperwork says and what actually happens on the ground.
A delayed shipment on a live project site is not an inconvenience — it is a cost. We treat every project as if our client's timeline depends on us. Because it does.
"When we started Veenlam in 2021, we saw a gap that nobody was talking about. East Africa's landlocked countries — Zambia, the DRC, Rwanda, Malawi — are some of the fastest-growing markets on the continent. They need equipment, infrastructure, and project cargo to arrive reliably and on time.
But the corridor between Dar es Salaam and those markets was being served by generalists who treated project cargo as a complication rather than a speciality. We built Veenlam to fill that gap — not to be the biggest freight company in Tanzania, but to be the most trusted one for the work that matters most.
If your cargo is oversized, technically demanding, or headed somewhere complicated, we want to be the first call you make."
